God is wanting to raise up a generation that can
establish the Kingdom but they will only hear the challenge, if the church gives the call.
Many people are looking for a world view that will give meaning and direction to life. The
world desperately needs a vision; a vision that will not fade as so many others have.
Without a vision the people will perish (Prov 29:18). The church must give a vision that
will stir young people to action.
The prophetic sound that they will
respond to is one that has deep content, which emphasises a Christian world view, the
gospel of the kingdom of God, which speaks uniquely of bringing every sphere of life under
the lordship of Christ. (Denis Peacocke, The Sleeping

It is time for the church to issue a
prophetic call for the building of the Kingdom.
God intends the church to build the
Kingdom in this age, and a perfect opportunity lies before us. The kingdom of man is
already shaking and beginning to disintegrate. After one last attempt to gain control it
will finally collapse and fall. This will leave a tremendous power vacuum in the world.
Christians must be ready to step into the gap and exercise authority in God’s name.
If we take advantage of this opportunity, the Kingdom can be established in our time. |
