| The Ministry of
Word and Sacrament is another ministry that is not even mentioned in the Scriptures. It
too is the result of human tradition. The highest ministry in the church is that of the
elder. A Church should be ruled by a group of elders who are submitted to each other. Any
structure, which elevates ministers or bishops above the elders, is contrary to the
Scriptures. |
